The content for the fact sheets, usually on medical conditions or products, is supplied by Australia’s leading healthcare organisations. The fact sheets can be easily shared with patients. This handy tool eliminates having to source information leaflets from different sources and provides GPs with all the fact sheets they need in a single place – this reduces consultation times, increases patient satisfaction and improves overall GP-patient communication. Our consumer research revealed that 83% of patients who received information from their GP went away with a better understanding of their condition or medication. As a repertoire of high quality patient information fact sheets, the tool, therefore, has a significant role to play in providing better health outcomes for people. Fact Sheets are also available in multiple languages to provide non-English speaking patients with valuable information in their native language.
